A meditation technique I use to re-connect with mother earth on regular basis. This is a guided meditation you can simply follow the instructions to do this.
Mother Nature
It benefits us all greatly to meditate: we all spend too much time indoors, in our offices and in our cars and when we are in the street we are walking on paved area’s often devoid of any trees or plants of any kind. We need to feel the earth on the soles of our feet and to feel the grass between our toes. This restores our balance and re-connects us with mother nature who nurtures us and strengthens our minds, our bodies and our souls: which restores our connection with the universe. Standing barefoot in the grass is very healing in times of stress will bring back a sense of calm and it stimulates you from head to toe and you can feel tension slip away from your body as you relax deeply.
Try this guided meditation technique :
It will re-connect you with nature
It stimulates and relaxes your mind and your body
It will ground your thinking and your emotions.
Ideally practise the following meditation when outside in a quiet and secluded location for maximum benefit.
Step one :
Enter the area you have chosen barefooted.
Step Two :
Stand with your feet shoulder width apart and let your arms hang loosely by your side.
Step Three :
Breathe gently and deeply for a couple of minutes.
Step Four :
Now visualize the strong powerful energy of mother earth flowing through your feet and flowing up and down your spine and through your legs into your feet and miles down into the earth.
Step Five :
You should be feeling very relaxed and rejuvenated continue this for as long as you wish
but when you are ready have a nice stretch out and slowly return to a normal position.
